A downloadable game

This is a prototype of a game idea I was exploring.

The goal was going to be a puzzle game where you send electrical charges from a generator (black square) to a destination (in this stage the pink square). You would do this by placing circles with electrical pads (tan rectangles) next to the generator and to each other. The circles would rotate at certain rates and you would basically have to solve synchronization puzzles. The player would be able to place new circles down and set how fast they could rotate, which direction they rotate, and how many electrical pads they had. I had in more gameplay mechanics in mind like adding circles to the stage that the player could not change any attributes of and have to work around, as well as trigger items that, upon receiving a certain amount of charges, would do something like reverse all circle rotation directions or enable/disable certain circles. Didn't have time for that though, but this demo might be an interesting way to play with some of the mechanics and see what it'd be like.

The controls are as follows:

Click and drag mouse onscreen to move view of map. Scroll wheel to zoom in and out.

Click a circle shape to enter configuration mode. Press q to leave configuration mode. While in configuration mode, you can use the buttons in the top right corner to change the attributes of the circle you clicked on.

Holding left control while clicking a circle will let you move that circle around on the map. When you've moved the circle to the place you want, just click again to place it.

Press "Start Load" in the bottom right corner to start the transfer of electrical pulses. Electrical pads change color if they have a charge, and also based on how much charge they have. Once you start the load you can't make any additional changes to the circles. Since it's just a prototype, I don't have a reset button implemented. So, if you want to try a different configuration, you'll have to restart the executable.
